Change Screen Timeout auf Realme
The auto screen off timer on Realme phones controls how long the display stays active before it locks and enters standby. A short timeout saves battery but can cut you off mid-read or before you finish typing a password. A long timeout keeps the screen visible longer but drains the battery faster and increases the risk of accidental touches in your pocket.
Where to change it
Open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Display & brightness ➔ Tap on Auto screen off ➔ Choose an Option. Realme UI offers 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 30 minutes.
If a screen lock with a password or PIN is active, pick a value that gives you enough time to unlock without the screen going dark mid-entry, but not so long that the phone stays unlocked when you set it down. A middle value like 1 or 2 minutes works for most people who unlock frequently throughout the day.
If the screen keeps switching off while you are reading or watching something, check whether a separate reading or video app has its own display setting before increasing the system-wide timeout, since a longer global timeout affects battery life in every app.
