Realme: Move the Screenshot Preview Window

On many Realme phones, the screenshot preview pops up in a small window on the left edge of the screen right after you capture it. If that spot overlaps app controls you actually need, like a back-swipe zone or a chat's send button, the preview gets in the way. Realme UI lets you switch this floating window to the opposite side instead of leaving it fixed on the left.

Change Screenshot Preview Position auf Realme

The screenshot preview window on Realme phones defaults to the left edge of the display, right where many apps place back-swipe zones or navigation buttons. If you keep swiping the preview away by accident, or it sits on top of content you need to tap quickly, moving it to the right side solves the overlap.

This position is a display setting, not a permanent layout choice, so you can switch it whenever the left side becomes inconvenient, for example after installing an app with a left-side floating action button.

To change it, open Tap on SettingsTap on Convenience toolsTap on ScreenshotSet the Preview window location. Choose the side where the preview window should appear after every capture.

The setting only affects where the thumbnail pops up for editing, sharing or scrolling a long screenshot. It does not change how screenshots are triggered, and it does not affect the final saved image.

If the preview still overlaps buttons on the new side, check whether the app you are using also places its own controls there before switching back.

Frequently asked questions

No. It only affects where the temporary thumbnail appears for editing or sharing; the saved screenshot file and its location in your gallery stay the same.
