Change SIM Card Name auf Realme
On a Dual SIM Realme phone, both slots often display the same carrier name if the SIM cards come from the same provider. That makes it difficult to see at a glance which SIM handles calls, texts, or mobile data. Renaming each SIM card fixes this without affecting network settings or your contract.
The name you set is only a local label stored on the phone. It does not change your phone number, carrier plan, or network registration, so you can edit it freely and reset it any time.
Menu path
Open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on SIM card & mobile data ➔ Choose a SIM card (Dual SIM) ➔ Tap on SIM card name ➔ Enter a Nameand tap on Save.
Pick a short, clear name such as Work or Private so you recognize the SIM immediately in the dial screen, contacts, and data usage overview. If you only see one SIM slot, insert a second SIM card first, since the renaming option only appears once Dual SIM is active.
If the labels still look identical after saving, restart the phone. The system sometimes needs a reboot to refresh the SIM names shown across all apps.
