Realme: Add Trusted Devices to Smart Lock

Smart Lock on Realme phones offers two ways to skip the lock screen automatically: trusted locations and trusted devices. Trusted devices target accessories that stay physically close to you, most commonly a smartwatch or Bluetooth earbuds.

The phone checks for an active Bluetooth connection to the paired device. As long as that connection holds, the lock screen is bypassed. Once the device moves out of range or Bluetooth disconnects, the phone falls back to your normal lock method.

Pairing has to happen through the regular Bluetooth settings before the device shows up as an option here. If your smartwatch or earbuds are not paired yet, connect them first, otherwise the list under Smart Lock stays empty.

Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Security ➔ Tap on Smart Lock ➔ Tap on Trusted devices ➔ Tap on Add trusted device and follow the on-screen instructions.

Trusted devices reduce how often you unlock manually, but they also lower security while the paired device is nearby. If you share your phone or lose your smartwatch often, trusted locations or a shorter lock timeout are safer alternatives.
