Realme: Set Up Trusted Places for Smart Lock

Realme phones lock automatically after a short timeout, even at places you visit every day. Trusted places is part of Smart Lock in Realme UI and keeps the device unlocked as long as it stays within a location you approve, such as home or your workplace.

The feature relies on GPS and Wi-Fi positioning to confirm you are inside the saved radius. Once you leave that area, the normal lock screen returns immediately, so security is not permanently disabled - only paused at places you trust.

To add a location, open Settings ➔ Security ➔ Smart Lock ➔ Trusted places ➔ Add trusted place and follow the on-screen steps to confirm the address.

Trusted places works best for fixed locations with reliable GPS reception. Indoors, in basements, or in large office buildings, positioning can be inaccurate, so the phone may still lock unexpectedly. In that case, combining trusted places with Smart Lock's on-body detection covers the gap between locations.

Keep in mind that anyone who picks up your phone inside a trusted place also bypasses the lock screen. Skip this feature for shared spaces or add only locations where you control who has physical access to the device.
