Enable or Disable On-body Detection auf Realme
On-body detection is part of Smart Lock on Realme phones running Realme UI. It uses the motion sensor to recognize that the device is being carried or worn, and it keeps the lock screen suppressed during that time, even with automatic screen lock turned on.
The feature only tracks movement, not identity. Once the phone changes hands while still in motion, for example passed to another person, it stays unlocked until it is put down or the sensor loses the pattern it associates with being carried. For anyone sharing a household, commuting on public transport, or handing the phone to colleagues, this creates a real gap in screen security.
Turning the setting off forces the lock screen to reactivate based on your normal timeout, no matter how the phone is held or moved. Turning it on again is useful if you unlock the phone often during short trips, like walking between rooms, and find the repeated PIN entry annoying.
To change the setting: Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Security ➔ Tap on Smart Lock ➔ Tap on On-body detection ➔ Enable or disable Use On-body detection.
If Smart Lock is greyed out, a screen lock method such as PIN or pattern needs to be set first, since On-body detection depends on it.
