Turn On/Off Automatic Software Updates auf Realme
Realme UI can install smaller system updates on its own overnight, so you do not have to trigger every patch manually. The function only runs while the phone is idle, not actively used, and connected to a stable network.
Automatic installation is limited to a fixed window between 2:00 and 5:00 AM. If you are using the phone during that time, the update is postponed and tried again the next night.
This setting does not cover major software upgrades. Those always require manual confirmation, since they can change the interface, permissions, or app behavior more noticeably.
Where to find the setting
Open Settings ➔ Software update ➔ Settings ➔ Enable or disable Auto update overnight to switch the function on or off.
Turn it on if you prefer the phone to stay current without manual checks. Turn it off if you want full control over when updates install, for example before an important call or a presentation the next morning.
