Turn On/Off Dial Pad Tone auf Realme
The beep you hear when tapping numbers on the phone app dial pad is a separate sound setting, independent from your ringtone or notification sounds. Realme UI groups it under the general sound and haptics options, which means muting your phone or switching to silent mode does not always affect it the same way.
To change it, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Sound & vibration ➔ Tap on More sounds & haptics ➔ Enable or disable Dial pad tone. Flipping this switch off removes the beep instantly for every number you dial afterward, no restart needed.
Turning off Dial pad tone only silences the confirmation sound for dialed digits. It does not affect keyboard sounds, touch sounds, or call ringtones, since those live under their own toggles in the same sound menu.
If you actually want your phone completely silent, including notifications and calls, use the physical volume buttons or the Do Not Disturb function instead. Disabling only the dial pad tone will not stop other sounds from playing.
Some people rely on the dial pad tone to confirm each digit was registered correctly, especially when dialing long extension numbers. If you disable it and start mis-dialing, simply reverse the same steps to turn it back on.
