Add and Manage Words in the Personal Dictionary auf Realme
Autocorrect on the Realme keyboard compares every typed word against its built-in language list. Names, abbreviations, or technical terms that are not in that list get replaced automatically, even if you type them correctly on purpose.
The personal dictionary fixes this by telling the keyboard to treat a specific word as valid. You can also attach a short abbreviation that expands into a longer word or sentence while you type, which speeds up repetitive text input.
To add an entry, go to Settings ➔ Additional settings ➔ Keyboard & input method ➔ Personal dictionary ➔ Add. Enter the word or phrase, add a shortcut if you want one, then tap Back to save it.
Once saved, the word no longer triggers a correction, and any shortcut you defined expands automatically during typing. This only affects the built-in Realme keyboard; if you use a third-party keyboard app, its own dictionary settings apply instead.
Keep shortcuts short but distinct. A shortcut that matches a common word can cause it to expand unexpectedly whenever you type that word.
