Change Volume Button Function auf Realme
On Realme phones running Realme UI, the volume buttons are tied to one specific audio stream by default. Depending on the current setting, pressing them either raises or lowers the ringtone volume or the media volume, but never both at the same time.
This gets noticeable when you are watching a video, listening to a voice message in WhatsApp, or playing a game. If the buttons are set to control ringtone volume, tapping them does nothing to the sound coming from the app you are using.
Where the setting lives
Open Settings ➔ Sound & vibration ➔ Volume button function and pick Media volume or Ringtone volume.
Media volume covers everything played back through apps: videos, music, in-app sound effects, and voice messages in messaging apps. Ringtone volume only affects incoming calls and notification sounds, leaving media playback untouched.
Switching to Media volume is usually the better default if you watch content or use messaging apps often, since it lets you adjust sound instantly without opening an app. If you mainly want quick control over how loud calls ring, keep Ringtone volume selected instead.
