Set Home Screen Wallpaper auf Realme
The home screen wallpaper on a Realme phone is managed centrally in the Personalizations menu, separate from the lock screen wallpaper setting. This matters because applying a wallpaper without choosing the right target can change both screens at once, or none at all if you skip the final confirmation step.
Live wallpapers behave differently from static images. They keep running as an animated layer even when the home screen is idle, which can increase battery use on older Realme UI builds. If you only want a still picture, choosing a photo from the gallery instead of a live wallpaper avoids this.
To change it: Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Personalizations ➔ Tap on Wallpapers ➔ Choose Static/Live wallpapersor tap on Photos ➔ Choose a Photo ➔ Tap on Apply ➔ Tap on Home screen.
The last tap on Home screen is the step people miss most often. Skipping it can apply the wallpaper to the lock screen only, or trigger a prompt asking which screen should receive the change.
If your photo looks stretched or cropped oddly after applying, the source image resolution is usually too low or has a different aspect ratio than your display. Picking a higher-resolution photo from the gallery usually fixes the crop.
