Connect to Wi-Fi Using a QR Code auf Realme
Entering a long alphanumeric Wi-Fi password on a touchscreen keyboard is slow, especially with mixed case letters and symbols. Realme UI includes a built-in QR code scanner for Wi-Fi that reads the network name and password directly from an image, so you never type the credentials by hand.
This works with QR codes printed on a router label, displayed by a router app, or shared from another phone that is already connected to the network. The scanner recognizes the encoded SSID and password and joins the network automatically once it reads the code.
To use it, open Settings ➔ Wi-Fi ➔ QR code scanner ➔ Scan a QR code to connect to Wi-Fi. Point the camera at the code and the phone connects right after recognition.
This feature only helps if a QR code already exists for the network. If none is available yet, you still need the plain password once, or you can generate a QR code from another Android phone that is already connected.
If scanning fails, check that the QR code is not damaged or blurry, that camera access for the scanner is allowed, and that the camera lens is clean.
