Set up a Proxy Server for Wi-Fi auf Realme
A proxy server sits between your realme phone and the internet, forwarding every request through a network you specify instead of a direct connection. Offices, schools and some public hotspots require this so traffic can be filtered or logged before it leaves the network.
On Realme UI the proxy setting is tied to one specific Wi-Fi network, not to the whole device. If you switch networks, the proxy no longer applies and you need to configure it again for the new connection.
To set it up, open Settings ➔ Wi-Fi, then open the menu on the connected network and tap Proxy. Choose Manual if your network administrator gave you a host name and port, or Auto-Config if you received a PAC URL instead. Enter the corresponding data and tap Save.
Without at least a valid proxy host name and port, the connection will fail even though Wi-Fi still shows as connected. If browsing works on other Wi-Fi networks but not this one, the proxy details are the first thing to check.
A proxy is not the right fix for VPN-style encryption or for bypassing regional content blocks reliably. It only reroutes traffic through a server, it does not encrypt it the way a VPN does.
