Delete an Album in the Gallery App
Deleting an album in the Gallery app on your Samsung phone removes the album and every photo or video inside it from the device, not just the album name. If Trash is not turned on, that content is gone for good with no recovery option. System albums like Camera cannot be removed this way.

Unused designs from the Galaxy Store keep taking up storage even when you never open them again. Some themes only need a few MB, but several installed at once add up fast on devices with limited space. Removing the ones you no longer use frees up memory without losing access to them for good.
Wi-Fi Auto Reconnect Toggle
If your Samsung phone keeps rejoining a Wi-Fi network you deliberately left, or refuses to reconnect to a saved network on its own, the Auto reconnect setting is the reason. This option decides whether the device automatically re-establishes a connection to networks it has used before. When it is turned off, you have to tap the network manually every time it comes back into range.
Turn Edge Panels On or Off
On many Samsung phones a thin bar sits along the right or left screen edge and slides open into a panel whenever you drag it inward. This comes from the Edge panels feature, which ships active by default and can get in the way during games or one-handed use. If you never open the panels, the handle itself still stays visible and reacts to touches near the border.
Reset All Settings
If your ringtone, keyboard behavior, or display options feel wrong after some tweaking, a full settings reset can undo the mess without touching your files. Samsung's Reset all settings option restores default values for sound, language, security, and other system menus while keeping apps, photos, and contacts exactly where they are. Dialing Keypad Tone: Turn On or Off

Allow Calls in Do Not Disturb

Turn Notifications On or Off for Individual Apps
If one app keeps buzzing your phone with alerts you no longer want, you don't have to mute your whole device to fix it. Samsung lets you manage notification permissions per app, so you can silence a chatty game or a busy WhatsApp group chat while alerts from your other apps keep working. Some apps even split their notifications into categories, letting you block group messages while direct messages still come through.
Turn Subtitles On or Off
If captions stay off during video playback or look different from app to app, you are probably dealing with two separate subtitle systems on your Samsung phone. Samsung subtitles and Google subtitles (CC) both add captions but sit in different menus and offer different styling options. Knowing which one is active decides whether size, color and background of the text can even be changed.
Reset Camera Settings
If your Samsung camera keeps producing odd results after tweaking resolution, filters, grid lines or shooting modes, restoring the default configuration usually clears the mess fastest. Custom settings like exposure values, watermark options or scene assist can silently stack up and cause blurry, oversaturated or oddly cropped shots. Turn USB Tethering On or Off
If your laptop or PC does not pick up an internet connection after you plug in your Samsung phone, USB tethering is probably still switched off. This feature routes your mobile data through the USB cable instead of Wi-Fi, which helps when public Wi-Fi is blocked, slow, or unavailable. Without the toggle enabled, the computer detects the cable but never actually goes online.
Set Up Fingerprint Unlock
If your Samsung phone only wakes up with a pattern, PIN, or password, the fingerprint sensor sits unused even though it can unlock the device just as reliably. Export Contacts as vCard
Switching to a new phone or backing up your contact list only works if you can get every saved entry out of the Contacts app in one file. Without exporting first, you are left copying numbers one by one. Samsung phones can bundle everything into a single vCard file that other devices, apps and services can read.
Turn Custom Watermark On or Off
Photos taken with your Samsung camera carry no signature or text, even though a custom watermark would help identify your shots. The built-in watermark stamps text into the lower left corner of every photo, but its position is fixed and the small camera icon next to it can't be removed. That limits how much you can customize the look before it gets applied.
Block or Unblock a Contact
If one saved contact keeps calling or texting after you have asked them to stop, blocking is the only way to silence both channels at once. The tricky part is that a blocked contact stays visible in your contact list and cannot be hidden, which surprises many users. Turn Color Inversion On or Off
