Answer Calls Automatically
When your Samsung phone is paired with a Bluetooth headset, car kit, or hands-free device, incoming calls should connect the instant you accept them through the accessory. If Answer automatically stays off, you still have to tap the screen manually, which is awkward while driving or wearing a wired headset. The same setting also controls how many seconds pass before the call picks up on its own.
Export Contacts as vCard
Switching to a new phone or backing up your contact list only works if you can get every saved entry out of the Contacts app in one file. Create a Contact Group
Sending the same text to five people one at a time gets old fast, and forwarding photos to the same circle of friends over and over wastes time. You can also give the group its own ringtone to spot incoming calls immediately.
Turn Custom Watermark On or Off
Photos taken with your Samsung camera carry no signature or text, even though a custom watermark would help identify your shots. The built-in watermark stamps text into the lower left corner of every photo, but its position is fixed and the small camera icon next to it can't be removed. If you keep triggering Bixby by accident while trying to turn the phone off, the Side key settings are where the conflict actually sits.

Allow or Deny Picture-in-Picture Access
If a video keeps playing in a floating window even after you close the app, or that floating window never shows up at all, the picture-in-picture permission for the app is set the wrong way. Samsung manages this per app, separate from the general multitasking settings, so one app can float freely while another stays blocked. Checking this permission clears up both problems in a few taps.
Turn On/Off Recycle Bin in Gallery
Deleted a photo or video by mistake and worried it is gone for good? On Samsung phones, the Gallery app can hold deleted files in a Trash folder before removing them permanently. If that safety net is switched off, one accidental swipe or tap on Delete removes the file immediately with no way back.
Add Emergency Contacts
If your phone is locked during an emergency, nobody can reach the people you trust unless they are saved as emergency contacts. Samsung ties this list to your Contacts profile, not to your regular address book, so numbers you already have saved will not show up on their own. Without this setup, SOS messages and lock-screen emergency calls have nobody to go to.
Make a Phone Call from the Dialer

If the microphone icon is missing from your Samsung keyboard, Google voice typing is probably switched off in the keyboard settings. This feature turns spoken words into text while you type, but only works once it is active under Language and input. You can switch it on or off at any point without changing your default keyboard app.
Turn Off Developer Options
Once Developer options are enabled on a Samsung phone, they stay in Settings even if you never touch them again. The extra menu entry does not affect performance or battery life, but some users prefer a clean settings list without it.
