Adjusting that delay changes how long the phone stays unlocked before it demands your credentials again.
Optimize Battery Usage for Apps
When apps on your Samsung phone stop sending notifications or updating in the background, battery optimization is often the cause. One UI aggressively limits background activity to save power, which can silently affect messaging, fitness, or sync apps. Turning off optimization for specific apps keeps them running as expected without draining your battery unnecessarily.

If your workplace or school network requires all traffic to pass through a specific server, a normal Wi-Fi connection on your Samsung phone will not get you online. Without the correct proxy host and port entered in the Wi-Fi settings, apps and browsers simply time out or show a connection error. This setup only affects the Wi-Fi network you configure it on, not mobile data.
Lock Network and Security Setting
If your Samsung phone drops its Wi-Fi or mobile data connection every time the screen locks, Find My Mobile can lose track of the device the moment it goes missing. Turn Pop-up Notifications On or Off for an App

Some apps switch this on by default, others leave it off, and the setting lives separately inside each app rather than in one global switch. Fixing it means finding the right notification category for that specific app.
Delete an Album in the Gallery App
Deleting an album in the Gallery app on your Samsung phone removes the album and every photo or video inside it from the device, not just the album name. If Trash is not turned on, that content is gone for good with no recovery option. System albums like Camera cannot be removed this way.

Remove a Theme
Unused designs from the Galaxy Store keep taking up storage even when you never open them again. Some themes only need a few MB, but several installed at once add up fast on devices with limited space. Removing the ones you no longer use frees up memory without losing access to them for good.
Wi-Fi Auto Reconnect Toggle
If your Samsung phone keeps rejoining a Wi-Fi network you deliberately left, or refuses to reconnect to a saved network on its own, the Auto reconnect setting is the reason. This option decides whether the device automatically re-establishes a connection to networks it has used before. When it is turned off, you have to tap the network manually every time it comes back into range.
Turn Edge Panels On or Off
On many Samsung phones a thin bar sits along the right or left screen edge and slides open into a panel whenever you drag it inward. This comes from the Edge panels feature, which ships active by default and can get in the way during games or one-handed use. If you never open the panels, the handle itself still stays visible and reacts to touches near the border.
Reset All Settings
If your ringtone, keyboard behavior, or display options feel wrong after some tweaking, a full settings reset can undo the mess without touching your files. Samsung's Reset all settings option restores default values for sound, language, security, and other system menus while keeping apps, photos, and contacts exactly where they are. It is the safer alternative when you do not want to go through a complete factory reset.
