Manage Google Activity Controls auf Samsung
On a freshly set up Google Account, activity tracking is enabled by default. Your Samsung device then reports Web & App activity, site history, YouTube history and behavior used for personalized advertising back to Google.
These settings live inside the Google app integrated into One UI, not in the general Samsung system menu. Turning them off stops new activity from being recorded, but it does not automatically delete what was already collected.
Where to find Activity controls
Open the path Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Privacy ➔ Tap on Activity controls ➔ Turn On/Off the desired Activity controls. Each category, such as Web & App activity or YouTube history, can be switched off individually.
Disabling all categories can affect features that rely on activity data, such as personalized search suggestions or tailored YouTube recommendations. If you only want to reduce ad personalization without losing search history for convenience, turn off just the advertising-related toggle instead of every option.
For a full reset, disabling activity controls should be combined with manually deleting existing history data, since the toggle only affects future collection.
