Add Apps to a Home Screen Folder auf Samsung
Dragging apps into a folder works fine for a single icon, but it gets unreliable once you try to move several apps at once. Samsung's Home Screen manager includes a dedicated add option inside every folder that lets you pick multiple apps in one step instead of repeating the drag gesture.
Why the edit menu is the better option
The hold-and-drag method depends on precise finger placement on small icons, which is why apps sometimes land outside the folder or on the wrong Home Screen page. The folder edit menu avoids this because it shows a checklist of installed apps, so you tap to select instead of dragging.
Steps
Open the folder you want to fill, then follow this path:
Tap on a Folder ➔ Tap on Add ➔ Select one or more Apps ➔ Tap on Done
Once you confirm with Done, all selected apps appear inside the folder immediately. This works the same way whether the folder already contains apps or was just created.
Use this method whenever you are reorganizing several apps at once. For moving a single app you already see on the Home Screen, the drag method is still quicker.
