Adjust Display Brightness auf Samsung
The display is usually the single biggest battery drain on a Samsung phone. Brightness settings decide how much power the screen pulls, so getting this right directly affects how long a charge lasts.
Samsung phones offer two brightness modes: automatic and manual. With Adaptive brightness turned on, the system reads the ambient light sensor and adjusts the screen on its own. This works well in changing environments but can feel too dim indoors or too bright at night for some users.
Adjust brightness manually
To set the brightness yourself, open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Display ➔ Swipe left or right to adjust the Brightness. Sliding left lowers brightness and reduces power draw, sliding right increases it for better visibility in bright rooms or outdoors.
If the slider seems unresponsive or snaps back to a fixed level, Adaptive brightness is likely still active and overriding manual changes. Turning that option off inside the same Display menu keeps the level you set until you change it again.
Manual brightness makes sense when you spend most of the day in one lighting environment, such as an office or a dark room at night. Adaptive brightness is the better choice if you move between very different light conditions throughout the day, since it saves you from adjusting the slider constantly.
Keep in mind that a screen left too bright for long periods is one of the fastest ways to drain a battery, even with an otherwise light usage pattern.
