Manage App Permissions via Permission Manager auf Samsung
Samsung blocks new apps from accessing sensitive functions like camera, microphone, location, contacts or storage until you approve them. The first permission prompt only appears when the app calls that function for the first time, not right after installation.
If you tapped Deny by mistake, or want to check which apps read your location in the background, the Permission manager gives you a full overview. Open Settings ➔ Apps ➔ Menu ➔ Permission manager to see every permission type sorted by category.
Inside, tap a permission category to see which apps currently have Allow or Deny status. Tap an app entry to switch its status directly, without reinstalling the app or waiting for a new prompt.
Changing a permission here takes effect immediately. An app that loses camera access shows a black screen or a permission error the next time you open that feature. If an app misbehaves even with all permissions granted, check for a pending system update instead of adjusting permissions further.
