Auto Click After Pointer Stop: Turn On/Off auf Samsung
When you connect a USB or Bluetooth mouse to a Samsung device, the touch-optimized interface sometimes struggles to tell a resting cursor from an intentional tap. The Auto click after pointer stops feature bridges that gap: it fires a click automatically once you hold the pointer still for a set amount of time.
This function lives inside the accessibility interaction tools, not the general mouse settings, because Samsung treats it as an assistive input method for users who cannot easily press a physical or virtual button.
To enable or adjust it, open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Accessibility ➔ Tap on Interaction and dexterity ➔ Tap on Auto click after pointer stops. From there, toggle the feature with Enable or disable Auto click after pointer stops, then fine-tune the timing with Swipe left or right to set the delay.
A short delay triggers clicks almost instantly, which can cause accidental taps while you are still moving the pointer toward a target. A longer delay gives you more control but slows down every interaction, since you have to hold the mouse still each time.
If you only need occasional clicks and prefer full manual control, turning the feature off avoids any unwanted auto-taps entirely. If you rely on the mouse for most navigation and struggle with the physical click button, keeping it enabled with a moderate delay usually works best.
