Disable Autoplay Videos in Samsung Internet auf Samsung
Autoplay in Samsung Internet is controlled by a single toggle inside the browser settings, not by the individual website. When it is turned on, any embedded video starts as soon as the page finishes loading, regardless of whether you scroll to it or tap play.
This behavior mainly causes problems on mobile data, where video playback can quickly use up your allowance. It also affects battery life, since the screen and processor stay active for content you never asked to watch.
Where to change the setting
Open Internet on your Samsung phone, then tap the Menu icon. Go to Settings, then Useful features, and switch Allow autoplay videos off or back on.
Turning the option off applies to every site you visit in Samsung Internet. There is no per-site exception list, so if you need autoplay for one particular page, you have to re-enable the setting temporarily.
This setting only affects the Samsung Internet app. Other browsers installed on the same phone, and native apps like YouTube or social media apps, manage autoplay separately in their own settings.
