Install Ad Blocker in Samsung Internet auf Samsung
Samsung Internet does not include a built-in ad filter. The browser only supports third-party ad blocker extensions that you have to download and activate separately, so ads keep showing until an extension is installed.
This matters because heavy ad scripts slow down page rendering and increase data usage, especially on sites that stack video ads, pop-ups, and tracking banners. Installing an extension through the browser's own menu is the fastest fix without touching any system-wide settings.
Where to find Ad blockers in Samsung Internet
Open Internet and tap the Menu icon, then tap Ad blockers to see the list of available extensions. Pick one and tap Download and install an Ad blocker to add it to the browser.
Once installed, most ad blockers activate automatically, but some need to be turned on manually in the same menu afterward. If ads still appear on specific sites, check whether the extension has an allowlist entry for that site, or whether the site actively detects ad blockers and asks you to disable filtering there.
An ad blocker extension only affects Samsung Internet. Other apps, like Chrome or in-app webviews, need their own filtering method, and system-wide ad blocking is not something these extensions handle.
