Edit or Add Quick Responses in Messages auf Samsung
Samsung Messages preloads a library of quick responses so you can reply fast without typing. Over time these default phrases stop matching your actual conversations, and the app does not surface an edit option anywhere near the compose field.
The list is managed in a dedicated settings screen inside the Messages app, not in the general phone settings. That is why the option is easy to miss even for people who regularly dig through menus.
Where the setting lives
Open Tap on Messages ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on More settings ➔ Tap on Quick responses. From this screen you can Delete or enter a Quick response to rewrite any existing entry, or Tap on Add to create a new one from scratch.
Changes apply immediately across every conversation thread and sync with the long-press quick response menu you see while composing a message.
When this will not help
If quick responses are missing entirely rather than just outdated, check that the Messages app itself has not been restricted or replaced by a third-party SMS app as your default. Quick responses are tied to the Samsung Messages app and do not carry over if another app handles your texts.
