Change Default Search Engine auf Samsung
The Samsung Internet browser comes with Google as the preset search engine. That choice lives inside the browser's own settings, separate from the phone's general system settings, which is why switching to Bing, Ask.com, Yandex, StartPage, DuckDuckGo or Yahoo! feels harder to find than it should be.
To change it, open Internet and tap the Menu icon. From there go to Settings, then Search engine. Tap the provider you want and confirm to set it as default.
Once changed, every search you type into the address bar and every suggestion you get uses the new provider instead of Google. This only affects the Samsung Internet app itself, not other browsers you may have installed, and not the search widget on your home screen if that is tied to a different app.
If Samsung Internet still shows Google after switching, check whether a second profile or a managed device policy is forcing the setting. In that case, the fix has to happen through a device administrator app or a company profile rather than the browser settings.
