Turn Charging Sound On or Off auf Samsung
The charging sound on Samsung phones is controlled separately from ringtones and notification sounds. It belongs to the system sound group, which also covers things like screenshot clicks or dialer tones.
Because it lives in its own submenu, many users look for it under general sound settings and never find it. The correct path is Settings ➔ Sounds and vibration ➔ System sound/vibration control ➔ Enable or disable Charging.
Inside that menu you get a single switch. Turning it off stops the chime whenever you connect or disconnect a cable or wireless pad, but it does not mute other system sounds like screenshots or keyboard clicks - those have their own switches in the same list.
There is no option to replace the charging sound with a custom tone. The switch only enables or disables the default chime.
If you flip the toggle on but still hear nothing, the cause is usually somewhere else: check that media volume is not muted and that Do Not Disturb is not active, since both can suppress the sound even when the setting itself is enabled.
