Connect to Wi-Fi via QR Code auf Samsung
Samsung phones running One UI can join a Wi-Fi network without typing a single character of the password. The built-in QR code scanner inside the Wi-Fi settings reads a code that another device generates when it shares its own network connection.
This only works if the other phone actually shares its connection first, since the QR code encodes the network name and password together. Without that shared code on screen, the scanner has nothing to read.
How to scan the QR code
Open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Connections ➔ Tap on Wi-Fi ➔ Tap on QR code scanner ➔ Position a QR code in the center to connect to the Wi-Fi network. Hold the camera steady until the frame locks onto the code, and the connection is established automatically.
Use this method whenever you want to avoid handing someone a written password, especially for guests or shared work devices. If neither device can generate a shareable QR code, connecting manually with the password is still the faster fix.
Poor lighting or a scratched screen on the sharing device is the most common reason the scan fails. Move to a better-lit spot and hold the phone flat rather than at an angle.
