Create a Folder on the Home Screen auf Samsung
Samsung's Home screen treats every app icon as an individual object unless you group them yourself. There is no automatic sorting, so folders only appear once you build them with a long-press gesture.
To create one, Tap and hold an App ➤ Tap on Select ➤ Select one or more Apps ➤ Tap on Create folder. Samsung One UI bundles the chosen icons into a single folder icon that opens with a tap.
Inside the folder you can add further apps, rename it, and pick a background color that matches the rest of your layout. This makes folders useful for grouping apps by category, for example messaging or media apps, without deleting anything from the Home screen.
If you only want to move a single app to another spot, dragging it directly is faster than building a folder. Folders make more sense once three or more related icons are cluttering the same screen.
One side effect worth knowing: removing every app from a folder deletes the folder automatically, so an empty folder never stays behind on the Home screen.
