Customize Secure Folder Name and Icon auf Samsung
Secure Folder ships with a default name and icon, which makes it easy to identify at a glance — including for anyone else browsing your app drawer. Samsung allows you to personalize both, so the folder blends in with your other apps instead of standing out as an obvious vault.
Where the customization option is hidden
The name and icon settings sit inside the Secure Folder app itself, not in the general system settings. Follow this path:
Tap on Secure Folder ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Customize ➔ Enter a Name and select a Custom icon ➔ Tap on Apply
What you can and cannot change
You get a set of predefined icons plus the option to display the first letter of the new name instead. There is no way to import a photo or a downloaded image as the icon — Samsung restricts this to keep the feature simple and consistent across devices.
Side effects to expect
Renaming Secure Folder does not move or rename the apps and files stored inside it. The home screen shortcut, if you have one pinned, updates automatically to the new name and icon once you apply the change.
When this will not help
If your goal is to hide Secure Folder from the app list entirely rather than just disguise its name, customizing name and icon will not achieve that — you would need to look at the app list visibility settings instead.
