Show or Hide Declined Events in Calendar auf Samsung
Samsung Calendar removes any event you have declined from your daily and monthly view by default. This is controlled by a single toggle inside the app settings, not by the calendar account itself.
The setting is called Hide declined events. When it is switched on, every invitation you reject disappears from the calendar grid, even though it still exists on the server and in the original invite thread.
Turning the option off does not restore old messages or notifications tied to the event. It only changes whether declined entries are rendered in the calendar view going forward.
Where to find the setting
Open the path below to change the behavior:
Tap on Calendar ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Enable or disable Hide declined events
Enable the toggle to keep declined events hidden, the default state. Disable it if you want declined events to stay visible, usually shown with a strikethrough or muted color to mark their status.
If you manage a shared calendar or track responses for a team, keeping declined events visible helps you confirm who actually rejected an invite instead of assuming it never arrived.
