Samsung: Delete Saved Login Data in Internet Browser

If the Samsung Internet browser keeps filling in an old username or password you no longer use, the autofill data is still stored in the browser settings. This becomes a problem when you share a device, switch accounts, or a saved password is outdated and blocks a fresh login attempt. Clearing the stored login data resets the autofill fields so you can enter fresh credentials without conflicts.

Delete Saved Passwords and Login Data auf Samsung

The Samsung Internet browser stores usernames and passwords automatically once you confirm a save prompt during login. This autofill data speeds up future logins, but it also causes problems when the stored details are outdated, belong to a shared account, or block a new login attempt on a form that keeps pre-filling wrong data.

Deleting this data resets the autofill behavior for every saved site at once. This is different from clearing browsing history or cache, since login credentials are stored separately in the password manager section of the browser settings.

To remove all stored access and login data, open the browser and follow this path: Tap on InternetOpen the MenuTap on SettingsTap on Usernames and passwordsTap on Personal dataTap on DeleteTap on Delete all.

After confirming, all saved login fields are cleared. The next time you visit a login form, none of the fields will be pre-filled, and the browser will ask again whether you want to save the new credentials.

If you only want to remove one account instead of everything, look for individual entries under the same Personal data section before choosing Delete all.

Frequently asked questions

No. Removing stored autofill data only clears the saved username and password fields in Usernames and passwords. Active sessions in apps or on other websites stay logged in until you sign out separately.
