Dialing Keypad Tone: Turn On or Off auf Samsung
The dial tone you hear when tapping numbers on the phone keypad is controlled separately from your ringtone and notification sounds. On Samsung phones this setting lives inside the system tone controls, which bundle several small audio feedback options together.
Because it is tied to system sounds rather than call volume, muting your ringer or switching to vibrate does not always silence the keypad. This is why the tones can keep playing even when you expect the phone to stay quiet, for example during a meeting where you still need to dial a number.
To change it, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Sounds and vibration ➔ Tap on System sound/vibration control ➔ Enable or disable Dialing keypad.
Turning this off only removes the audio feedback from the keypad itself. Call ringing, notification alerts, and other system sounds stay untouched, so you can disable just the dial tone without affecting anything else.
If you still hear a click sound after disabling it, check whether a separate touch sound or vibration feedback setting is active elsewhere in the sound menu, since some models split keypad audio from keypad haptics.
