Change SIM Card Name auf Samsung
Samsung labels every inserted SIM as SIM 1 or SIM 2 by default, no matter which network or purpose the card serves. On a dual-SIM phone this quickly gets confusing when you try to pick the right line for a call, a message, or mobile data.
The fix lives inside the SIM card manager, not the general network settings. Open Settings ➔ Connections ➔ SIM card manager, then tap the SIM card you want to rename.
Tap Name, clear the default entry, and type a label that actually tells you something, like Personal or Work. Confirm with Done and the new name shows up everywhere the SIM is referenced, including the dialer and quick settings panel.
Renaming only changes the label shown on the device. It does not affect the network, the phone number, or which SIM is set as default for calls or data. If only one SIM is inserted, the manager still lists it and lets you rename it the same way.
