Export Contacts as vCard auf Samsung
Contacts saved directly on a Samsung phone are not automatically backed up outside the device. If you switch phones, factory reset, or want a copy in another app, you need a portable file that carries every name, number and address in one place.
Samsung's Contacts app can bundle all or selected entries into a single vCard (.vcf) file. This format stores contact data in a way that most phones, email clients and messaging apps can read and import without conversion.
To create it, open Tap on Contacts ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Manage contacts ➔ Tap on Import or export contacts ➔ Tap on Export. Choose where to save the file, then pick the desired contacts and tap Done, followed by Tap on Export again to finish.
Once exported, the .vcf file sits in your chosen storage location. From there you can attach it to an email, send it through WhatsApp or another messaging app, or copy it directly onto a new device for import.
Exporting is the better option when you need contacts on a different phone or platform. If you only want the same contacts restored automatically to the same account, syncing through your Samsung account or Google account needs less manual handling, but it will not give you a shareable file.
