Turn On/Off Faster Face Recognition auf Samsung
Faster recognition changes how strict the face unlock camera is before it accepts a match. With it enabled, your phone unlocks a little quicker, but the check relies less on depth and detail, which makes it easier to fool with a printed photo, a screen showing your face, or a short video.
This setting lives inside the biometric security menu, separate from your actual face enrollment. It does not delete or reset your stored face data, it only adjusts how carefully that data gets compared during unlock.
Open Settings ➔ Biometrics and security ➔ Face recognition ➔ enter your current Pattern, PIN, or Password ➔ toggle Faster recognition on or off.
Turn it off if you use face unlock for banking apps, payments, or unlocking in public places. Leave it on only if speed matters more to you and you still keep a strong PIN or pattern as backup lock method.
