Turn Airplane Mode On or Off auf Samsung
Airplane mode on a Samsung phone cuts the connection to the mobile network in one step. Calls, texts and mobile data stop working right away, and depending on the model, WLAN and Bluetooth switch off along with them.
The toggle sits inside the connectivity settings, not only in the quick panel. Open Settings ➔ Connections ➔ Enable or disable Airplane mode to switch the function on or off directly.
On many Samsung phones you can turn WLAN and Bluetooth back on while Airplane mode stays active. This helps on a flight that offers onboard WLAN, since the mobile radio stays blocked while local wireless features work again.
If only mobile data refuses to reconnect after you disable Airplane mode, check the mobile network settings on their own, since a stuck SIM registration can look like a leftover flight mode problem.
Restarting the phone after toggling Airplane mode clears connection states that a plain switch does not always reset, especially after the device has been offline for a while.
