Enable Grid Lines in Camera auf Samsung
A tilted horizon or an off-center subject usually comes down to framing without a visual reference. Samsung's camera app solves this with an overlay grid that stays visible while shooting but never appears in the final image.
The grid divides the screen into equal sections, so you can align the horizon with a horizontal line or place a subject along one of the intersection points. This works for both photo and video mode, and the same setting applies across the camera regardless of which mode you're using.
To enable or disable it, follow this path:
Tap on Camera ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Enable or disable Grid lines
Samsung offers a square grid and a 3x3 grid. The 3x3 layout follows the rule of thirds and works well for portraits, since it helps position eyes or faces along the upper intersection lines. The square grid suits architecture or landscape shots where straight horizontal and vertical alignment matters more than subject placement.
Turn the grid off again once framing becomes automatic, since the overlay can distract from the actual scene on smaller displays. It has no effect on image quality or file size either way.
