Turn On/Off Auto HDR auf Samsung
HDR (High Dynamic Range) blends several exposures of the same scene into one photo. Samsung cameras use this to recover detail in bright skies and dark shadows at the same time. Without it, a scene with strong sunlight often ends up with blown-out highlights or crushed blacks.
Auto HDR decides on its own when a shot needs this treatment, based on the brightness range it detects through the lens. It works best outdoors, backlit shots, and landscapes with a mix of sun and shade. Indoors or in low light, HDR barely changes anything, since the brightness difference is too small to matter.
To check or change the setting, open Tap on Camera ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Enable or disable Auto HDR. Turning it on lets the camera decide per shot; turning it off keeps every exposure untouched, which some people prefer for faster shooting or a more natural look.
Leave Auto HDR off if you shoot mostly indoors or in even lighting, since the camera app processing each frame for HDR can add a short delay between shots. For moving subjects or fast bursts, a disabled Auto HDR usually captures more reliably.
