Import Contacts from SIM or vCard File auf Samsung
Contacts that live on a SIM card or inside a vCard (.vcf) file are not automatically visible in your Samsung Contacts app. You need to run an explicit import and tell the phone which source to read and which account should receive the entries.
Samsung supports three sources: the SIM card itself, internal phone storage, or a memory card. The file you import from storage or a card has to be a valid .vcf export, otherwise the app will not list it as an option.
Open Contacts ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Manage contacts ➔ Tap on Import or export contacts ➔ Tap on Import. Next, Select from where to import - SIM card, device storage, or memory card.
If you picked storage or a memory card, Select the desired Contacts and tap Done. Then Select where to import - your Samsung account, a Google account, or the device only - and tap Import.
Importing into a Google account syncs the contacts across every device signed in with that account. Importing to the device only keeps them local, which is useful if you want to avoid duplicates later. If contacts already exist under a different account, run the import again for each account you use.
