Select Apps for Brief Pop-up Notifications auf Samsung
Brief pop-up notifications on Samsung phones show a short banner at the top of the screen for a few seconds. Behind this feature sits a single list of apps allowed to trigger it, kept separate from your general notification permissions.
If an app never shows a pop-up, it usually means it was never added to that list, not that its notifications are blocked entirely. The reverse happens too: apps you never need urgent alerts from can flood your screen with pop-ups if they were left switched on by default.
To adjust the list, open Settings ➔ Notifications ➔ Included apps. Turn individual apps on or off depending on whether their alerts should interrupt the screen as a pop-up.
This setting only changes the pop-up behavior. Regular notifications in the notification panel and on the lock screen stay unaffected, so switching an app off here does not silence it completely.
If pop-ups still appear for apps you turned off, check whether the brief pop-up feature itself is enabled under Notifications. Also review individual app notification settings, since some apps override the general pop-up list with their own alert style.
