Keyboard Vibration: Turn On or Off auf Samsung
Keyboard vibration on Samsung phones is a separate haptic setting tied to the Samsung Keyboard app, not the general system vibration used for calls or notifications. When it is disabled, typing feels silent even if other vibrations still work fine. When it is enabled but feels too strong or too weak, that is normal, since it uses a fixed intensity controlled by the system, not the keyboard app itself.
This function sits inside the broader sound and vibration control panel, where every app that produces sound or vibration is listed individually. Samsung Keyboard appears there alongside calls, messages, and other apps, letting you fine-tune each source separately.
Where to find the setting
Go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Sounds and vibration ➔ Tap on System sound/vibration control ➔ Enable or disable Samsung Keyboard. Toggling this switch on gives you a short vibration pulse on every key press. Toggling it off removes the haptic response but keeps the acoustic key sound untouched.
If you use a third-party keyboard app instead of Samsung Keyboard, this toggle has no effect. In that case, vibration settings for typing live inside the keyboard app itself, not in the Samsung system menu.
Keep in mind that constant keyboard vibration draws slightly more battery over a full day of typing, especially with heavy messaging use. If battery life matters more than tactile feedback, leaving this toggle off is usually the better choice.
