Keyboard Language Switching Method auf Samsung
The Samsung Keyboard lets you switch between installed languages in three different ways: with the dedicated language key, by swiping the space bar sideways, or with both methods combined. When the wrong option is active, the space bar can trigger an unwanted language change while you type, or the language key can feel unresponsive because swiping is the only method enabled.
This setting lives inside the keyboard app itself, not in the general language settings of the phone, which is why it is easy to overlook. Changing it does not affect which languages are installed, only how you move between them.
Where to change it
Go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on General management ➔ Tap on Samsung Keyboard settings ➔ Tap on Languages and types ➔ Tap on Language switching method ➔ Choose an option.
You can choose Language key and space bar swipe for both methods at once, Language key to switch only by tapping the key, or Space bar swipe to switch only by swiping. If you type in a single language most of the time, disabling the space bar swipe removes the risk of accidental switches during fast typing.
