Turn On/Off Magnifier Window Shortcut auf Samsung
The Magnifier window is not the same feature as the standard screen magnification gesture on Samsung phones. Magnification zooms the entire display, while the Magnifier window only enlarges a movable section of the screen, similar to a physical magnifying glass placed over the content.
This makes it useful for reading small text in one part of an app without losing the overview of the rest of the screen. It also offers extra controls such as magnification level, focus lock, and following the typing focus, which the full-screen magnification gesture does not provide.
To turn the shortcut on or off, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Accessibility ➔ Tap on Visibility enhancements ➔ Tap on Magnifier window ➔ Tap on Magnifier window shortcut ➔ Enable or disable Magnifier window shortcut ➔ Choose an option.
Once enabled, the shortcut lets you open the Magnifier window quickly without digging through the accessibility menu every time. Keep in mind that moving the window on screen requires two fingers, since a one-finger drag is reserved for scrolling the content underneath it.
If the shortcut still does not appear where expected, check that no other accessibility shortcut is already assigned to the same trigger.
