Pin a Conversation to the Top of Messages auf Samsung
Samsung Messages sorts every conversation strictly by the timestamp of the last message. A contact you write to daily can end up far below a chat you had once, months ago, simply because that older thread received a reply more recently.
To keep an important conversation visible at all times, you can pin it to the top of the chat list. This does not archive or mute anything, it only changes the sort position, so notifications and message previews still work as usual.
How to pin a conversation
Open Tap on Messages ➔ Tap and hold a Conversation ➔ Tap on More ➔ Tap on Pin to top. The chat immediately moves above all others, regardless of when it was last updated.
You can pin more than one conversation this way. Pinned chats stay grouped at the top and keep their own internal order based on activity, while everything else below continues sorting by time as normal.
If a pinned conversation stops feeling relevant, repeat the same steps and choose the unpin option instead. This is useful when a temporary chat, like coordinating a delivery, no longer needs priority placement.
