Media Volume Limit: Turn On or Off auf Samsung
The Media volume limit is a protective sound function on Samsung phones. It caps the loudness of media played through wired headphones, earbuds or Bluetooth speakers, separate from the regular volume slider you use for the main speaker.
Samsung adds this cap because sustained high volume through headphones carries more hearing risk than the built-in speaker. Once enabled, the phone quietly enforces a ceiling even if you drag the volume bar to maximum, which is why audio can sound noticeably quieter than expected as soon as headphones or a Bluetooth device connect.
You can turn the limit on or off, or adjust how strict it is, in the sound settings. Go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Sounds and vibration ➔ Tap on Volume ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Media volume limit ➔ Turn On/Off Media volume limit ➔ Set the Custom volume limit and/or Volume limit PIN.
Setting a PIN prevents anyone else from raising the cap without your knowledge, which is useful on a shared or child's device. If the issue is low volume everywhere, not only with headphones or Bluetooth, this setting is not the cause and you should check the main volume slider or a specific app's internal volume control instead.
