Turn On/Off Mono Audio auf Samsung
Stereo sound splits audio into two separate channels, one for each ear. That works fine with two earbuds in, but falls apart the moment you only wear one, share a pair of headphones with someone, or have hearing loss in one ear. Whatever plays on the missing channel simply disappears for you.
Samsung's Mono audio setting fixes this by merging both channels into a single signal and sending the full mix to every connected speaker or earbud. It applies system-wide, so calls, music, videos, and notification sounds all switch to combined audio at once, not just one app.
You find the toggle under accessibility settings, not sound settings, since Samsung treats it as a hearing enhancement rather than an audio effect:
Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Accessibility ➔ Tap on Hearing enhancements ➔ Enable or disable Mono audio
Turning it on has one trade-off worth knowing: stereo separation in music and movies disappears, since everything now plays identically on both sides. If you switch back and forth often, for example handing one earbud to someone else during a video, it's worth remembering this exact path rather than digging through sound settings by mistake.
