Mute All Sounds Setting auf Samsung
Mute all sounds is an accessibility feature that overrides every volume control on your Samsung phone at once. Instead of lowering ringtone, notification and media volume separately, it silences all three categories in a single switch. Many users trigger it unintentionally by pressing and holding the volume up or down key, which opens a shortcut menu for this exact function.
Once active, the volume key display shows Mute all sounds is on, and no slider adjustment brings sound back until the toggle itself is switched off. This differs from a simple Do Not Disturb schedule, which only blocks notifications for a set time while calls or alarms can still pass through depending on your settings.
To turn it off, go to Settings ➔ Accessibility ➔ Hearing enhancements ➔ Mute all sounds and disable the toggle. After disabling it, check your ringtone and media volume levels, since they may have been changed while the mute was active.
If only notifications are silent while calls still work, the cause is usually a separate notification setting or an active Do Not Disturb profile, not this function.
