Read Caller Names Aloud On/Off auf Samsung
Read caller names aloud only works for numbers already saved in your contacts. The phone uses text-to-speech to say the contact name out loud while the call is ringing, instead of just playing the ringtone.
Because it relies on text-to-speech, the speaking speed and pitch are controlled by your general voice output settings, not by this switch alone. If the announcement sounds too fast, too slow, or oddly pitched, check your text-to-speech settings separately.
To turn the feature on or off, follow this path:
Tap on Phone ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Answering and ending calls ➔ Enable or disable Read caller names aloud
Turn it off if the spoken name interrupts music, video playback, or feels disruptive in quiet environments. Keep it on if you often have your phone in a bag or another room and rely on audio cues to know who is calling.
Unsaved numbers are never read aloud, since there is no contact name to speak. The setting also has no effect on how calls from unknown numbers are handled otherwise.
