Remove Apps from a Folder auf Samsung
On Samsung phones, folders on the home screen only support removing apps one at a time. One UI has no built-in multi-select tool for folder contents, so every icon has to be pulled out individually before the folder is tidy again.
To remove a single app, follow this path:
Tap on a Folder ➔ Tap and hold an App ➔ Tap on Remove
Removing an app from a folder does not uninstall it. The icon simply moves back onto the home screen or into the app drawer, and all app data stays untouched.
This method works the same whether the folder contains two apps or twenty. There is no shortcut, no long-press-to-select-multiple gesture, and no menu option to empty a folder in one step.
If your goal is to free up storage rather than just tidy a folder, removing the app from the folder will not help. In that case, uninstall the app directly through its app info page instead.
