Remove a Speed Dial Number auf Samsung
Speed dial numbers on Samsung phones live in a separate list inside the Phone app, not in your regular contacts. Deleting a contact from your address book does not always clear the matching speed dial slot immediately, which is why old or wrong numbers can linger there.
Each speed dial slot is a shortcut, not a live link to the contact. If you reassign a number to someone else or just want an empty slot, you need to remove the entry manually from the speed dial screen.
Where to find speed dial numbers
Open Phone, then tap Open the Menu in the top corner. From there, tap on Speed dial numbers to see every assigned slot with its number and contact name.
Removing a slot
Tap on the speed dial entry you want to get rid of, then tap on Remove. The slot becomes empty and can be reassigned to a different contact right away.
If a contact was already deleted from your address book, the matching speed dial slot usually clears itself the next time you open this screen. Manually removing a slot is only needed when the contact still exists but you no longer want it on speed dial, or when you want to reorganize your shortcuts.
This does not affect the contact itself. Only the speed dial shortcut is removed, your contact stays untouched in the address book.
